Metals, alloysДand their Usage

Man uses metals still so much today because of their valuable properties. The main advantage of metals is their strength and toughness.

Plastics are lighter and more corrosion-resistant, but they are not usually as strong as metals. Another problemИwith plastics is what to do with them after use. Metals can be recycled but plastics can only be burned.

Not all metals are strong. Copper and aluminum are metals, but if they are mixed together, the result is an alloy called aluminum bronze which is much stronger than pure copper or pure aluminum.

Alloying is an important method of obtaining required properties such as strength, toughness, resistance to wear, magnetic properties, high electrical resistance or corrosion resistance.

The properties of a metal can be further improved by use of heat treatment. Heat treatment is the number of different procedures in which the properties of metals and alloys are changed. It usually consists of heating the metal or alloy to a selected temperature below its melting point and then cooling it at a certain rate to obtain those properties which are required. For example, hardening is used to make metals harder. Annealing is carried out to

make a metal soft so that it can be machined more easily. Tempering makes them softer and less brittle. In this way, metallic materials can be produced to meet every kind of engineering specification and requirements.

библиографические, рефераты для научно-популярных журналов и СибАДИучебные.

По полноте зложения содержания библиографические рефераты подразделяют на нформативные и индикативные (informative and indicative).

Информат вные (informative) – рефераты-конспекты содержат в обобщенном в де все основные положения первичного документа, иллюстр рующ й х материал, важнейшую аргументацию, сведения о метод ке сследования, использованном оборудовании, сфере применен я.

Инд кат вные (indicative) – указательные, или рефераты-резюме, содержат не все, а л шь те основные положения, которые тесно связаны с темой рефер руемого документа; все второстепенное для данной темы в индикативном реферате опускается. В индикативном реферате не содержится подро ного изложения результатов и выводов исследования. Текст реферата состоит по существу из набора ключевых слов и словосочетаний и потому в основном может быть использован читателем только для выяснения вопроса о том, нужно ли ему обращаться к первичному документу.

По количеству реферируемых первичных документов рефераты подразделяются на монографические, составленные по одному документу, и обзорные (или обзоры), составленные по нескольким документам на одну тему.

По читательскому назначению рефераты подразделяются на общие, излагающие содержание документа в целом и рассчитанные на широкий круг читателей, специализированные, в которых изложение содержания ориентировано на специалистов определенной области знаний.

Другие рефераты пишутся по научным статьям для научнопопулярных журналов. Их цель – познакомить с научными открытиями всех желающих. Сложный, серьезный материал излагается в доступной, популярной форме.

1.5. Жанровые особенности и языковые стандарты для составления аннотации и реферата

М.М. Бахтин определяет жанр как относительно устойчивые тематические, композиционные и стилистические типы высказываний.

Основная цель аннотации – перечислить вопросы, освещенные в первоисточнике, дать им краткую оценку и определить круг адресации, тем самым осуществить дифференциацию текста (выделить его особые черты), в то время как основная реферативная задача – ознакомительно-описательная.

Целевой направленностью детерминируются объем и композиционно-графическая структура жанров аннотации и реферата. Аннотация имеет более лаконичный вид и включает в себя один или два абзаца. Реферат имеет более развернутую формально-смысловую организация и напрямую зависит от объема первоисточника и количества освещаемых в нем вопросов.

В связи с тем, что жанр – это стандартная форма передачи типизированного содержания, культурно и исторически оформленный, общественно конвенциализированный способ языковой коммуникации, за каждым жанром закрепляется ряд традиционных для него языковых
