Технические термины, выраженные словами «чада», «отроки», «дети», имеют особое значение и широко засвидетельствованы в армянской книжности: они характеризуют бдящих христиан, живущих праведной, кроткой, ангельской, недремлющей жизнью, часто встречаются в таких выражениях, как «чада Завета» или «дети / чада Церкви». В ряде статей я попыталась показать связь между этими выражениями и известными сирийскими словосочетаниями bar Q'yama, bnat Q'yama, bnay Q'yama; последние два выражения тоже наличествуют в армянских источниках, см., например: [28, с. 278-280; 46, t2 90-110; 47, 67-86; 48, 90-110, 297-302] и т. д.
14. Книга причин, следуя классическому методу христианской экзегетики, сравнивает положительных героев, особенно пророков и царей Ветхого Завета, с Иисусом Христом.
